It’s not a type of company. It’s a type of person.

That’s who I work with. Owners with a dream and the grit to chase it. My team and I plan the work and then build it, across four practices: marketing, technical, strategy, and coaching.

Hi, I’m Carson. I landed my first client at 15. (Technically I started at 7. To be honest... it was A/B testing the sign on a lemonade stand, but in my book, that counts.)

That’s when I signed my first client. I was on a retainer before I could legally drive. Don’t ask me how that happened. I ran under a generic agency name for a while, then rebranded to Carson Poore Consulting 3 years later, because it turns out who I am is what owners are hiring. Not a logo. A person they can call. I’m almost entirely self-taught, with formal education in visual communications and digital marketing.

I’ve worked with healthcare, education, retail, events and entertainment, food and beverage. The one thread that stays consistent...? Owners who needed somebody to look at their dreams and, instead of scoffing, say “How are we gonna make this happen?” That’s the job. I’ll ask a lot of questions, I’ll tell you the truth even when it isn’t the easy answer, and I’ll treat your business like it’s my own.

So what do we actually do?

More than “marketing agency” ever let on. Marketing is still part of it. So is the technical work most marketing shops hand off. Websites. AI automation. GoHighLevel. Google Ads. GA4. Strategy is a one-time $3,000 engagement that ends with a 90-day plan you could run without us, and coaching is us sitting in as your fractional CMO. Ongoing work runs $1,200, $2,400, or $4,800 a month, with a three-month minimum and then month to month. The full list lives on our services page, or find yourself first: local businesses, founders, or nonprofits.

Here’s my hot take: most small businesses don’t need more marketing. They need the marketing they already have to be finished. That’s why we cap it at 8 clients. Don’t get me wrong, that means we’re sometimes full. When we are, I’ll tell you on the first call instead of squeezing you in.

Grow central Indiana’s small businesses the way we’d grow our own.

That’s the mission. Marketing that’s actually thought through, brand work that looks like you and nobody else, and ads that earn their keep. Every business we take on gets treated the way I’d want mine treated: like it matters, and like it’s worth building right the first time.

Healthier businesses. Healthier owners.

I want to leave central Indiana’s small-business community better than I found it. More businesses worth choosing. More owners who can finally breathe. Growth is how we get there. But the point was always the people we get there with.

What we operate on.

Four rules my team and I hold ourselves to, whether or not anyone is looking.

Build It Better

We are never satisfied with work that simply functions. There is always a sharper version of what we just made, and we go looking for it before anyone thinks to ask us. Getting comfortable is the only real failure available to us.

Kind and Candid

We tell people the truth, and we do it with genuine care for the person hearing it. Directness without kindness is just ego in a business casual outfit. Kindness without directness is avoidance pretending to be manners. We hold ourselves to both at the same time.

Nothing Half-Checked

We finish what we start, all the way down to the details nobody notices. Thoroughness does not get abandoned because a deadline is close, and it is never treated as someone else’s responsibility. If our name is attached to something, it has been looked at more than once.

Founders Over Funnels

The person always matters more than the pipeline. We are here for the health of the entrepreneur we work with, not only the growth of the business they built, and when those two things pull in opposite directions we choose the person.

None of this happened by accident. It’s been a wonderful work of God, and my faith shows up in these values and the day-to-day work, not as a label.

I’d love to hear what you’re building.

It starts with a 30-minute discovery call. You talk, I listen, and you leave with a straight answer. If we’re a fit, you’ve got somebody to lean on.
