You keep everything.

Your domain, your website, your Google Business Profile, your ad accounts, and your data are in your name from the first day we work together. We get added as managers. If you leave, it all stays right where it is, and we hand you the keys in writing.

Here’s what’s yours.

7 things, in plain terms. Here's our rule: if it brings in work for your business, it belongs to your business.

Your domain

Registered in your name, in a registrar account you can log into, with the renewal billed to your card. The address on your truck and your business cards never depends on us.

Your website and hosting

The hosting account is yours and billed to you. You also get the site files, so any developer in Indianapolis or anywhere else can pick up where we left off.

Your Google Business Profile

You’re the owner. We’re a manager. Every review, photo, and post on it was earned by your business and stays with it.

Your Google Ads and GA4 accounts

The ad account is opened in your name and your card pays Google directly. Your GA4 property sits under your Google login, with every month of history in it.

Your CRM data and contact lists

Your contacts, your pipeline, your conversation history, and your email lists. These are the people who already trust you, and they stay yours.

Your social accounts

Your pages and profiles stay under your logins. We’re added as admins or collaborators, which you can remove whenever you like.

The creative files we make for you

Logos and brand files, photos, video, and the words we write for you. Project work (sites, brand files, video, photos) is yours once it’s paid for, source files included, to use anywhere for as long as you want.

Your name on it from day one.

On the first day, we either open new accounts in your name or ask you to add us to the ones you already have. You’re the owner. We’re added as managers, never the other way around.

Nothing lives only on our systems. If we drafted it, built it, or measured it, there’s a copy in an account you control.

Don’t get us wrong, this way is slower at the start. You’ll get a few invitations to accept, and sometimes we wait on you to click one. We’d rather wait.

Here at CPC, we aren’t afraid of a hot take: any marketing account opened in an agency’s name is a problem that just hasn’t happened yet. So we don’t open them that way.

If you leave, here’s how it goes.

Every retainer starts with a 3-month minimum, because real change takes about that long. After that it’s month to month. You can stay a year or leave in month four.

When you’re ready to go, we hand everything over in writing: each account, who has access, and where every file lives. Then we walk you through it until you, or whoever comes next, can get into all of it without us.

And nothing has to move. The site stays up and the phone keeps ringing while you decide what’s next. That’s the whole point. You built this, and it stays yours.

What we keep, and what was never ours.

A short list, so there are no surprises on the way out.

What we keep
  • Our own templates and checklists, the ones we reuse across clients.
  • Our process, the five steps on our method page.
  • The software we pay for to do our work. Nothing of yours lives only inside it.
Between you and the vendor
  • Third-party subscriptions stay with the company that sells them. Leaving us doesn’t cancel or change them.
  • Paid font licenses go in your name, and we tell you the cost before you pick one.

If you’re weighing a new site, the same rule applies to every build on our web design page. And the monthly side is on our pricing page: $1,200, $2,400, or $4,800 a month, with 8 clients at a time.

Questions about leaving, asked before starting.

Do I own my website?

Yes. The domain is registered in your account and the hosting is billed to your card, so the site lives in your name from the first day. You get the site files too, which means another developer can pick it up without asking us for anything. Project work like sites, brand files, video, and photos is yours once it’s paid for.

Who owns my Google Business Profile?

You do. If you already have one, you stay the owner and add us as a manager. If you don’t, we set it up with you as the owner from the start. Google lets a profile have more than one person on it, and we never ask to be the primary owner.

What happens if I cancel?

After the 3-month minimum, retainers run month to month. Tell us you’re done and we hand over access and files in writing, then walk you through each account until you can get into all of it without us. Your site keeps running the whole time, and your phone number stays yours.

Do you charge to hand things over?

We don’t hold your accounts hostage. Everything is already in your name, so there’s nothing to buy back. Retainers go month to month after the first 3 months, and handing over access is part of how we close out the work.

What about my data?

It’s yours. Your GA4 property and its history, your ad account and every search term in it, your CRM contacts and pipeline, and your email lists all sit in accounts you control. Before we go, we export your contact lists so you have a copy that doesn’t depend on any one tool.

Ask us who owns your accounts now.

Let’s hop on a discovery call and we’ll check whose name is on your domain, your Google profile, and your ad account. If it isn’t yours, you’ll leave knowing how to get it back.
