Answer what your customers already ask.

How much does it cost? How long does it take? Is it worth it? Your customers type those questions into Google and ChatGPT every day. So whose answer do they find...? We write the articles and newsletters that answer them in your words, so it’s yours.

You already answer these questions all day.

On the phone, at the counter, in a quote you emailed last Tuesday. Content marketing is writing those answers down once, well, where strangers can find them. It’s built for owners who know their trade cold and never have time to write about it. And for nonprofits whose donors keep asking where the money goes.

This is your lane if
  • Customers ask the same 5 questions before they buy, and you’re tired of typing the answers.
  • Your website says what you do but never explains why anyone should pick you.
  • You have an email list and haven’t sent it anything in a year.
  • You can spare 30 minutes a month to talk. We handle the writing.
Probably not, if
  • You need calls this month. Honestly, content won’t do that. Local SEO or ads will get there sooner.
  • You want a post every day for the algorithm. We’ll write less, and better.
  • Nobody can find you on Google at all yet. Fix that first, then publish.

Hot take: 2 useful articles a month beat 12 thin ones. Every single time.

Here’s what lands on your site each month.

Every piece starts from a question a real customer asked you. Then we put it to work everywhere it fits.

Articles that answer one question properly

What does a new roof cost in Carmel? Should a nonprofit hire or outsource its books? We pick the questions your customers ask right before they buy, and write one clear, specific answer per article, with your real prices and your real opinions in it. Sometimes a topic deserves more room, so it becomes a longer guide people bookmark and forward.

Written so Google and ChatGPT can quote you

More people now ask AI answer engines like ChatGPT before they ever open a search page. Those tools pull from pages that answer a question plainly near the top, name a place, and show who wrote it. So that’s how we structure every piece: the answer first, the detail after, your name and city on it, and schema markup so search engines know what they’re reading.

A newsletter people open

Once a month, a short email to the people who already know you. One useful thing, plus one clear reason to reply or book. It’s the cheapest repeat business there is. And most owners we meet have a list sitting unused in a spreadsheet.

One piece, cut up for social

An article that took a week to get right deserves more than one post. We cut each one into a handful of short posts and a line for your Google profile. If you want social media run as its own channel, that’s a separate conversation.

This is slow. We’d rather say so now.

Content compounds over months, not weeks. The first article you publish probably won’t ring the phone. Article 15 might, because by then there’s a library that answers most of what your customers wonder, and Google has had time to trust it. If you need booked work by the end of the quarter, we’ll point you somewhere faster and tell you why. Straight answers, either way.

Don’t get us wrong, the upside is real. It keeps working. An article that answers “how much does this cost in Indianapolis” can still be bringing in calls 2 years after we wrote it.

Read ours before you hire us.

Our own articles follow the same format we’d write for you. Each takes one question a small business owner actually asked us, answers it in the first paragraph, and then shows the work. Read one and judge the writing for yourself. If it sounds like something your customers would finish, let’s hop on a call.

The same checklist runs on every piece we write for clients.

What content costs

Content marketing runs inside our published monthly retainers. At $1,200 a month, we run one channel properly, and content or email can be that channel. At $2,400 a month, we connect it across channels, so each article also feeds your newsletter and your social posts. The $4,800 tier hands us the whole marketing function.

There’s no separate project price for content. Retainers have a 3-month minimum, then run month to month. Every article and every email list stays yours if you leave.

Questions owners ask about content

How often should a small business publish?

Less often than you’ve been told. Our default is 2 articles a month and 1 newsletter, and we’d rather drop to 1 great article than pad the schedule. Consistency beats volume. A business that publishes twice a month for a year is in a much better spot than one that posts daily for 6 weeks and then goes quiet.

Who actually writes it?

We do. You give us about 30 minutes a month on a call, we ask what customers asked you lately, and we turn your answers into drafts. You read every piece before it goes live and you can change anything. Your expertise, our writing. Nobody needs to know which sentences were whose.

Does AI-written content work?

Unedited, no. It reads like everyone else’s, because it was built from everyone else’s. Google has said it judges content on whether it’s helpful, not on how it was produced, and generic answers aren’t helpful. We use AI for research and rough outlines. A person who knows your business writes and edits every piece, and the parts that make it worth reading (your prices and your opinions) can only come from you.

How long until content pays off?

Months. Most articles take a while to get picked up by search, and the library has to get deep enough to matter. A newsletter can work faster if you already have a customer list, since those people know you. That’s part of why our retainers have a 3-month minimum. Each monthly report shows what was read, what got found, and what led to a call.

Do you do email newsletters?

Yes, and for many local businesses it’s the better first channel. We write it, design a simple template, and send it from the tool you already use, or set one up if you don’t have one. Monthly is the usual rhythm. If the list lives in a CRM, we can connect it to the rest of your follow-up too.

Bring us the questions you hear most.

On a discovery call, we’ll pick the 3 your customers ask most often and sketch the article that answers each one. The list is yours to keep either way.
