When Indianapolis searches, you show up.

You built something people around here need. Local SEO makes sure they find it, right when they’re typing “AC repair in Indianapolis” or “plumber near Greenwood” tonight. We finish your Google Business Profile, build a steady stream of fresh reviews, clean up your listings, and sharpen the local pages on your site. So when Google decides who to show first, it trusts you.

Built for businesses people drive to.

Trades and home services. Restaurants. Shops, salons, studios, practices. If your customers live within 20 miles and the phone has gone quieter than your work deserves, this is usually the first thing we fix. It’s the same starting point we recommend to every local business we serve.

This is your lane if
  • Word of mouth built the business, and it’s stopped being enough.
  • A competitor shows up first on Google and you don’t show up at all.
  • You’d rather own your Google profile and reviews than rent leads from Angi.
  • You answer your phone. This whole system depends on that.
Probably not, if
  • You sell nationwide online. That’s a different kind of SEO, and we’ll tell you so on a discovery call.
  • You want rankings for their own sake. We count calls and booked jobs, never positions.
  • You need page one in two weeks. We won’t promise that. Nobody honest will.

Here at CPC, we aren’t afraid of a hot take: most local businesses buy ads before their Google profile has earned them. Fix the profile first.

What we actually do, month by month.

No mystery retainer. It’s 4 jobs, done steadily, and that’s the whole game. You’ll see each one counted in a plain-English report every month.

Your Google Business Profile, actually finished

Most profiles we open are half-done. No description, 3 photos from 2019, a category that’s close but wrong. So we fill every field. The most specific category Google offers, all 750 characters of description, your services listed, photos that look like your real work, a post or two a month. Your website link matches your site exactly, down to the trailing slash.

A review system that runs itself

A steady flow of fresh reviews counts for more than a big old pile of them. So we build the ask right into your day: when a job wraps or a table clears, the customer gets a text with one link. We draft replies to every review, good and rough, in your voice. No begging, no fake accounts, ever.

One name, address, and number, everywhere

Google cross-checks your business details against Yelp, Facebook, Bing, and Apple, and every mismatch quietly costs you trust. We hunt down each listing and make them identical. To be honest... this part is data entry. It’s boring. We do it anyway, because Google notices.

Local signals on your website

Your site should answer what people around here actually type: the service and the town, in plain words near the top of the page, with the cost question answered instead of dodged. We write those pages, put the city where it belongs, and add schema markup — code that tells Google what your business is, in Google’s own language. It works in Carmel and Fishers the same way it works in Greenwood, Brownsburg, and Avon.

The first marketing dollar we’d spend.

The map pack is the set of three businesses Google shows above everything else. Landing there is worth real money. Those businesses get 126% more traffic than the results just below them, per BrightLocal. Reviews are how you earn the spot. And unlike an ad, a ranking doesn’t disappear the day you stop paying for it. The same groundwork helps your website show up beyond the map, in regular search and in AI answers. That part is SEO and AI search.

Part of the retainer, not an upsell.

Local SEO lives inside our published monthly retainers: $1,200, $2,400, or $4,800 a month, depending on how much of your marketing you want handled. For a single-location business whose main problem is getting found, the $1,200 tier usually covers it. 3 months minimum, then month to month. This work compounds, and a 30-day sample proves nothing.

And if you ever leave, you keep everything. The Google Business Profile. The reviews. The website. The listings. It was always yours.

Check yourself before you pay anyone.

We built an 18-point self-audit covering your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your website basics, and the extras that get you found. It grades you live, flags the 3 fixes that matter most, and never asks for your email. Run it tonight. Plenty of owners fix what it finds and stop there. Don’t get us wrong, we’re genuinely happy about that.

What owners ask us before they start.

How long does local SEO take to work?

Longer than anyone selling it wants to admit. If your profile has been neglected, basic fixes can move your map ranking within a few weeks. In a crowded category in a dense part of Indy, it takes months of steady signals. That’s one reason for our 3-month minimum. We won’t charge you for a month where nothing could honestly happen. Every month you get a plain-English report showing what moved.

Do I need to pay for a Google Business Profile?

No. The profile is free, and claiming it is free. If someone calls offering to “activate” or “secure” your listing for a fee, hang up. What costs money is the ongoing work of keeping it complete, photographed, posted, and reviewed, which is the work we do.

Should I do local SEO or Google Ads first?

Local SEO first, almost every time. It is the cheaper, more durable win, and ads perform better once your profile and website are ready to catch what the ads send. When you are ready for that step, Google Ads is its own service with the same published pricing.

What if I have almost no reviews?

Then this matters more for you, not less. Profiles with 40 or more reviews averaging 4.5 stars appear in the map pack about 3.7 times more often than profiles with fewer than 10, per BrightLocal. The fix is a system, not begging. Ask at the moment the customer is happiest, by text, with one link, every time. We set it up so it runs without you thinking about it.

Can I just do this myself?

A lot of it, yes. We built a free 18-point self-check so you can. Run it, fix what you can in an afternoon, and don’t pay anyone for that part. Owners usually hire us when the slow, repetitive pieces (listings cleanup, review replies, photos, monthly upkeep) stop happening because business picked up. Which is sort of the point.
