Marketing measured in booked work, not impressions.

You built something good. We help Indianapolis find it, with brand, campaigns, content, and email from a team that counts calls and customers and will tell you what not to buy.

The work is still good. The phone got quiet.

Word of mouth built your business. Years of solid jobs, neighbors telling neighbors. Then it stopped scaling. Now the company down the road shows up first on Google and you don’t show up at all.

Maybe you’ve paid for marketing before. $1,000 a month, a report full of charts and buzzwords, and no more jobs than the month before. That wound is common enough to measure: in vcita’s April 2025 survey of 500 small-business owners, 40% had dropped or switched their marketing agency, and six in ten of those left because they couldn’t see what the money bought.

So here’s how we run things, plainly. Prices are published on this site. 3 months minimum, then month to month. 8 clients at a time. If you ever leave, you keep everything: the website, the Google Business Profile, the ad accounts. They’re registered to you from day one.

And the promise is concrete. When Indianapolis searches for what you do, you show up. When someone calls, they get an answer. If that first part isn’t happening today, start with why your business isn’t showing up on Google.

Here at CPC, we aren’t afraid of a hot take: most local businesses get sold social media management far too early. If your Google Business Profile is thin, fix that first. It’s free. And it’s where your customers actually look.

Four kinds of work, one practice

Everything below is done for you and reported every month, aimed at one outcome: more of the right customers finding you and coming back.

Brand & messaging

The look and the words that make you the obvious choice. Before we touch a logo, we ask about your average job value and your best customers. The last company never asked... we always do.

Campaigns

Seasonal pushes with a budget and a goal counted in calls. Fix the pipeline before the spring rush instead of panicking in the middle of it, and fill the slow Friday nights on purpose.

Content

Your actual work, photographed and written up so Google and your neighbors can find it. Don’t get us wrong, content is slow. We say that up front, because it’s also the thing that compounds.

Email

The unglamorous one. A steady note to past customers beats almost everything else on this page, because those people already trust you. It costs nearly nothing to send.

Most of your content starts on a phone

A finished cake, a clean install, the crew at the shop. A good photo of the real thing, written up with the neighborhood in it, beats a stock graphic every time. We shoot it, write it, and post it, and the same photos feed your Google profile and your email.

Local businesses

The phones slowed down and word of mouth stopped being enough.

Where marketing ends, the other practices pick up

Honestly, the four practices blur. A campaign usually needs a landing page, and a new lead needs an answer inside five minutes; that build work is our Technical practice. The owner asking “what should we do first?” wants the one-time Strategy engagement before anyone spends a dollar on this page. And if you’d rather run marketing yourself with us advising, that’s Coaching & growth. Same team, one hallway. On the discovery call we’ll tell you which door you’re actually standing in front of.

The services that live here

Branding

Your name, logo, and look, built so you can use them the same way on a truck, a menu, and a website. We start with what you want to be known for, then design to match. About branding

Content marketing

Articles, guides, and emails that answer what your customers are already asking. Fewer posts, each one tied to a job. No filler. How content works

Social media

Posting that sounds like a person and not a brand account. We pick the one or two channels your customers actually use and keep them going. About social media

Video & photo

Real footage and photos of your people and your work, shot once and cut into everything else. Short clips, an intro video, or a half-day shoot. About video & photo

SEO & AI search

A site Google can read and pages that answer the questions your customers ask, so you show up in search and in AI answers. It’s the slowest channel we run and one of the steadiest. How we do SEO

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Show up when Indianapolis searches for what you do. Getting into Google’s local 3-pack, the short list of businesses at the top of the map, is the most explainable early win in marketing. It’s usually where we start. How local SEO works

Google Ad Grants for nonprofits

Google gives verified nonprofits free search ads every month, and most orgs barely touch them. We set it up and run it as part of the retainer, at the nonprofit rate. About the Ad Grant

Google Ads, run honestly

Paid search lives in our Technical practice, so the same people who build your landing pages run the account. The message still comes from here. If you’ve burned two grand on ads yourself, you’re in good company, and we’ll tell you straight whether you’re ready to try again. How we run Google Ads

What this costs

Marketing runs on the same three retainers as everything we do: $1,200, $2,400, or $4,800 a month, depending on how much of this page you want done for you. Many clients start with the $3,000 strategy engagement, and half of that fee ($1,500) is credited toward the retainer if you continue. The full breakdown, including the nonprofit rate, is on the pricing page.

Questions owners actually ask

What does marketing cost for a small business in Indianapolis?

Our retainers are $1,200, $2,400, or $4,800 a month, published on the pricing page with what each month includes. For context, SBA guidance puts marketing at 7–8% of gross revenue for businesses under $5 million, so $1,200 a month is a normal commitment for a business doing around $200,000 a year.

Do you lock clients into long contracts?

No. The minimum is 3 months, because real change takes that long. After that it’s month to month. Everything we build is registered to you from day one, so if you leave, it all stays yours.

How will we know if it’s working?

You’ll get a monthly report in plain English that counts calls and booked work, not impressions. Call tracking goes in during the first week, so you can see which jobs came from where.

Do you work with businesses that compete with us?

No. We cap the whole consultancy at 8 clients at a time, and we won’t take two of the same trade in the same territory. If your competitor got here first, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere good.

What if we’re not ready for ads?

Then we’ll say so and not sell them to you. Most local businesses we meet should fix their Google Business Profile and reviews before spending a dollar on ads. If that’s you, we’ll start there, or just tell you how to do it yourself.
