Which step is quietly holding the rest back?

You built something real. So let’s see where it stands. 10 plain questions about your business or nonprofit, scored on the spot against the same 5 steps we run every client through. No email. No login. Your answers stay on this page.

The same 5 steps we use with every client

  1. ConvictionCan you say why you exist in plain words, and does your team say it the same way?
  2. Your peopleDo you know your best customers well enough to write to one of them by name?
  3. A sharp offerCan a stranger tell what you sell and why it’s worth it in about 10 seconds?
  4. The experienceWhat actually happens between someone’s first inquiry and their second visit?
  5. Word of mouthDo happy customers turn into new ones on purpose, or only when you get lucky?

Here at CPC, we aren’t afraid of a hot take: your weakest step matters more than your total. A business at 70 with one step sitting at 4 out of 20 usually has a clearer next move than one at 85 with no obvious gap. So that’s what the result leads with. Read the 5 steps in full.

Before you start

Do I have to give you my email to see my score?

No. There’s no email and no login. Your answers stay in your browser and nothing is saved. The only time your score leaves this page is if you click through to book a call, which carries the number along so we can prepare.

How is the check-up scored?

Each question has four answers worth 0, 3, 7, or 10 points. Two questions cover each of the five steps, so every step is scored out of 20 and the total is out of 100. Your weakest step is the one with the lowest score. If two tie, we name the earlier one, because the later steps stand on it.

What happens on the discovery call?

We spend 30 minutes on your weakest step. You’ll leave with one or two specific fixes, even if we never work together. We take 8 clients at a time, so if we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you straight and point you somewhere better.

Your weakest step is where we start.

30 minutes, free, on video or over coffee somewhere in Indy. Bring your score and the step it named. We’ll give you a straight answer on what we’d fix first, and whether you even need us to do it.
