Small business branding as good as the work behind it.

Your work got better. The logo didn’t. We do small business branding in Indianapolis for owners in exactly that spot, for new businesses picking a look for the first time, and for companies that outgrew the one they started with. 2 packages, both priced right here. And every file we make is yours.

Paint color swatch cards, pencils, and hand-drawn sketches spread across a desk beside a keyboard

For owners whose look is behind their work.

Customers size you up before they call. They see the sign, the truck, the Instagram profile, the website, and they decide what you probably charge and whether you’re any good. So if the brand says “side hustle” and the work says “best in Indy,” you’re losing the people who never call to find out. Most of the local businesses we work with feel this one first.

This is your lane if
  • The logo was a favor from a friend in 2014, and it shows.
  • You’re opening something new and want the name and the look right before the sign goes up.
  • You added a second location or a new service line, and the old brand feels small next to them.
  • Your flyers, website, and van all use slightly different blues. Nobody decided that. It just happened.
Probably not, if
  • You can’t yet say who you’re for in one sentence. That’s a positioning problem, and we’d start somewhere else.
  • You want 40 logo concepts to pick from. We show a few, and each one comes with a reason.

Here at CPC, we aren’t afraid of a hot take: most rebrands start at the wrong end. The offer comes before the logo.

A new logo won’t fix a fuzzy offer.

If people don’t understand what you sell, or why they’d pick you over the shop down the street, a sharper mark just makes the confusion look more expensive. That’s why our 5-step method puts Conviction first and A sharp offer third, and why the visual work comes after both.

So on the first call we’ll ask you to explain the business in one sentence. If that’s easy, great. We design. If it’s hard, we’ll tell you straight, and we’ll point you to strategy first. That’s a $3,000 engagement that settles your positioning and your offer. Then the brand has something true to say.

2 packages, both priced.

Both are one-time projects. After a discovery call, we confirm a fixed price in writing, starting from the number you see here.

Logo & identity

from$750

For when the business is clear and the look needs to catch up.

  • A logo suite: the main mark, a stacked version, an icon, and a one-color version
  • A color palette with codes for print and screen
  • A type pairing for headlines and body text
  • A one-page brand sheet your team and vendors can follow

Full brand system

from$2,000

For new businesses and for rebrands after growth.

  • The full visual identity, including everything in Logo & identity
  • Your brand voice, with words to use and words to drop
  • Guidelines that keep it consistent when someone else makes the flyer

Strategy work isn’t included. If your positioning isn’t settled, start with the $3,000 strategy engagement.

Project work counts toward our 8-client limit, so we schedule it instead of squeezing it in. Photo shoots and intro video are priced separately.

How a branding project actually runs.

It starts with questions, not a mood board

What do you sell, and what do customers say about you when you’re not in the room? We ask before we sketch anything. For a full brand system, this is where your brand voice gets shaped. If your positioning isn’t settled, start with the $3,000 strategy engagement.

A few directions, each with a reason

You see 2 or 3 directions, never a wall of options. Each comes with a plain sentence about why it fits your customers. You pick one, we refine it together, and we stop when it’s right.

Tested where it will actually live

A logo has to hold up on a van door on I-465, a round Instagram avatar, a receipt printer, and a browser tab the size of a fingernail. We check every direction at those sizes before you choose, so nothing turns to mush later.

The handoff, with every file

You get the editable source files, the exports, and the brand sheet. Honestly? The brand sheet is the least exciting thing we make. It’s also the one owners use most, because it ends the “which blue is ours?” texts for good.

Every file is yours.

No licensing fee and no “email us for the vector.” When the project wraps, you get the originals and every export, and you can hand them to any printer or sign shop you like.

One caveat, since it surprises people. If the right typeface is a paid one, the license goes in your name and we’ll tell you the cost before you choose. When a free font does the job, we use the free font.

Questions owners ask about branding.

How long does a branding project take?

Logo & identity usually takes 3 to 4 weeks from the first call to final files. A full brand system runs 6 to 8 weeks, because the brand voice needs a round of your feedback before design starts. The slowest part is almost always waiting on decisions, so we put review dates on the calendar at the start.

What files do I get?

Every version of the logo (main, stacked, icon, and one-color) as SVG, PDF, and PNG, plus the editable source files. You also get color codes for print and screen and the one-page brand sheet, which names your typefaces. The full brand system adds the brand voice write-up and the guidelines document. All of it is yours.

Can you just do a logo?

Close to it. Logo & identity, from $750, is the smallest package we offer. It covers more than the mark, because a logo on its own tends to fall apart the first time someone else makes a flyer.

Do I need a full brand system?

Not if your business is clear and you can say who it’s for in one sentence. Then Logo & identity is enough. The full system, from $2,000, is worth it when you’re brand new or when growth has left the old story behind. It also helps when several people write for the business and it sounds like 3 different companies. It doesn’t include strategy work. If your positioning isn’t settled, start with the $3,000 strategy engagement.

What if I already have a logo I like?

Keep it. Plenty of strong brands run on a logo that’s 10 years old. Often the real fix is everything around it: a clean vector file, a defined color palette, type that matches, and a brand sheet so everyone uses it the same way. On a discovery call, we’ll tell you whether a refresh is worth paying for or whether you mostly need the files tidied up.

Is it the logo, or the offer?

Book a discovery call and bring your current logo, your website, and 1 sentence about what you sell. We’ll tell you straight which one is holding you back, even if the honest answer is neither.
